I would request you to simply SMILE and take a picture of yourself while smiling and if you like you can submit your photo here to be a part of the Thousand Smiles Project and can even win a hand made sketch by iSketches.
Thank you for smiling. You just added charm to your face aesthetics and at the same time benefited from its therapeutic advantages. People say it’s the second best thing to do with your lips, I say it’s the first best thing to do with your lips. And no I am not going to tell you what others think about the first best thing to do with lips.
So what is this Thousand Smiles Project and whose brainchild is this.
Milana Ryan, a social media enthusiast, poetess, photographer, blogger, who also do sketches, has initiated this amazing project.
The project invites people from across the globe to submit their pictures with smiling faces on tumblr.com
According to Milana her goal is to bring as many smiling faces pictures from around the globe to one place and to make you (whoever visits the blog) smile too.
While writing this blog post I visited the website.
It was superb to see so many smiling faces in just one place. It is like seeing a universal family album of people full of life from across the world. You will find pictures of parents holding their kids, husband and wife hugging together, friends or family members in a group photo, women working in the fields, students enjoying with their colleagues, kids enjoying being photographed, head covered females and males, and solo pictures of individuals with great poses at home, work, park and pool, and much much more. It was wonderful to see people from all backgrounds irrespective of their cast, color, religion, status or nationality.
Milana launched this project in the month of February 2012
and as of date she already had 378 photos spanning 26 tumblr pages. The submitted snaps are funny, creative, colorful and full of expressions. No wonder smiling is a universal sign of happiness across all cultures in the world.
Anyone can participate in this project by submitting their ‘smile’ photos, including — self-portrait, family, candid, photography works or any picture, by clicking here. The photos are taken from the project itself.
Someone told me a long time ago
“Keep smiling – it will increase your face value”
