If your “Who’s Viewed Your Profile” chart on Linkedin is not showing you any hits day after day, then your Linkedin Profile is in, what I call, “Quarantine”. Simply because your profile is idle, no one is visiting it, it is cut off from the world, it is close to extinction, it’s in isolation. It’s in quarantine. And that is why i drew the cartoon to catch your attention.
By shying away from making some changes on your Linkedin Profile or staying dormant, you are missing several opportunities which can boost your personal branding for attracting both, job or business opportunities.
“Your profile is idle, no one is visiting it, it is cut off from the world, it is close to extinction, it’s in isolation. It’s in quarantine”
According to Kinsta.com, LinkedIn has over 760 million users, with more than 260 million monthly active users. So if you are one of those 500 million monthly inactive users, imagine the opportunities you may be missing in terms of networking, lead generation and job hiring possibilities. Keep in mind that 4 out of 5 people on LinkedIn “drive business decisions” , there are 55 million companies are on LinkedIn and 3 people are hired through LinkedIn every minute.
You can start building a powerful presence on Linkedin within no time. Just visit Linkedin blog or google “how to optimize your linkedin profile” or hire a service of a professional.
Do not think that if your Linkedin profile is free, it can sit idle.Your Linkedin profile works for you 24 x 7 throughout the year. Just set aside few minutes daily on improving your Linkedin profile. Simply sharing regular updates even once a day will enhance your engagement level.
I classify my Linkedin profile in the same category as yours, and I am working to pull my profile out of the “Quarantine”, would urge you too to do the same.
The year 2021 is now one month old, so make the most of it during the next 11 months by taking care of not only yourself but also of your Linkedin profile.
